Oh my Jackson!!!!!!!!!loved it

This was an gooda well read...seriously enjoyed....Her Next Breath,took my away.....A short story,quick pace.easy to fallow,well written.well developed even its short,(there is a storyline)and well characters too Ex Seal Jackson&Suri,very intense and enjoyable couple...I liked them right away when they met...They were perfect match,him with his commanding tone and hers sassy,and with that & more they attract each either...A background for her made her be insecure of love/fight that issue due to the position she is into...Jax try to resist but cant when he is around her,...i laugh in a few scene,they are irresistible together.. There is heat/temptation/sex scene,teasing,action,a mission to accomplish/capture a drug lord,be a friend to the son's drug lord not a good choice/danger and that's enough to me to say cause you need to read to see how this story will end....One more thing: A Solid Rock story,loved it...As usual Author Delilah Devlin delivered another one of her awesome work...She can write well well good....She has never disappointed me with her work no matter,what she writes/genre/length/,i just can't get enough....Now,comes the waiting part for the next installment cause need more of theses ex Seal.....The wait is always worth.....Apllause!!!!!!!!!

Sexy page-turner!

Her Next Breath is a short read, packed full of action and great writing. It started off strong from page one and really caught my attention. This second book in the Uncharted SEALs series is a mix of romance and suspense, action and sexy insta-love. While on a mission, former SEAL Jackson Keller and his spec ops team rescue/take into custody school teacher Suri McAnally. I love a good rescue and this one is both sexy and intense. I also love a romance that takes place during a dangerous mission, which heightens the hero and heroine's emotions and speeds the relationship development up. It makes the insta-lust/insta-love a little more believable and kept me turning the pages. I didn't love the heroine as much as I would have wanted to, and didn't think that her actions always matched up with her backstory. But overall I was happy with where the story ended up and I will definitely check out more Delilah Devlin books. I'm interested in reading about the rest of this spec ops team and I'll go back and read book one in this series.

Another great SEAL story – no cliffhanger!

Although this book is part of a series it also stands alone and you won’t be lost if you haven’t read any of the other books in this series.

Jackson Keller is on his first mission with the Charter Group’s special ops unit and things have gone wrong. They are supposed to be taking down a bad guy but when they get to his house the only thing he finds is a naked women shackled to a bed.

Suri McAnally was kidnapped by her friend and forced to help provide a cover for him with his father – the bad guy that Jackson is after. Suri is terrified but she doesn’t give an inch, fighting Jackson all the way.

Forced to stay together to keep Suri safe the attraction they feel for each other deepens but when the mission is over Jackson lets her go.

This is a rather short book but packed with lots of action and lots of hot, sexy time between Jackson and Suri. They get their HEA but not without overcoming a few obstacles first.

Her Next Breath is another great SEAL story in the short, sexy style that I love about books from Delilah Devlin!

I purchased this book as part of the SEALs of Summer 2 boxed set.

Great but truly needs part three

Making the Perfect Housewife Parts One and Two are the best Domina Dixon books so far that I have read (7 plus the co-authored one). That Diane's shoe could have that impact and result is marvelous, but it seems so blatantly obvious that Melanie has some huge lessons still to learn before she can be considered the perfect housewife. A plug worn will not only improve her walk but make accepting Diane's strap-on much easier. When Eric moves in it would seem completely necessary for Melanie to be able to not only fluff him but provide oral services to completion. Then what might make Melanie the Perfect Housewife would be to worship Diane's pussy while still in his chastity cage and while also being taken anally by Eric's massive organ. The copious release even while in chastity would signify to Melanie that she may never be released from chastity as it would no longer be necessary: she would have become at long last: The Perfect Housewife. Classic. Essential. Practical.

There are a lot of great books on the more artistic and unquantifiable aspects of motion picture editing (for example, Michael Ondaatje's Conversations with Walter Murch), but this is one of the few books to lay out the basics. Everyone who wants to edit motion pictures, whether it's home videos using iMovie or feature films using Avid or even (especially) actually cutting film should know what this book has to teach. It's really the only book for the novice editor worth reading. Just buy it.

Clear and authoritative guide to the principles and practices of film editing

This is one of the classic texts on the principles and practices of modern film editing. While it was written nearly thirty years ago and refers occasionally to the techniques of linear editing on actual film, its summary of the rules of good editing remains as relevant today as ever, even for filmmakers who will only ever edit video on their computers. Editing is where the film is brought to life and Dmytryk outlines in a very clear and engaging way the basic considerations that allow that to take place. The author was not only a major filmmaker but a master teacher, and it shows in both the precision and clarity of his explanations.

What makes the guide as fresh today as when it appeared is that it is primarily not about technical considerations but about how an editor has to think in order to construct seamless and engaging scenes that are true to the overall story of a film. At the same time this thinking is given a practical application. The focus is on why rather than how, but it goes much further in explaining the basics of what to do when editing and how to put together a scene than many other books out there.

Dmytryk makes a distinction between a cutter and an editor, and cutting is merely competence with the equipment of film editing, whether it is a moviola or Final Cut Pro. Editing is always thinking, and is as creative in its approach to the film as shot as directing is creative in its approach to the film as written. Subtle variations in editing can change completely the tone or mood of a film. Dmytryk illustrates his points with several examples from major films he directed or edited (e.g. The Caine Mutiny, Murder, My Sweet and many more). Dmytryk is a master of his craft and is generous in his description of what it takes to pursue this mastery. This little book is an indispensible part of any filmmaker or film lover's library.

Working in film and video for over 15 years, this was the first book I read when starting my career. I have bought several copies over the years for new shooters and editors. It really is that good.

Whether you're a novice or a seasoned veteran, this is a MUST READ. This short book is packed with solid information that should be required reading in any film school. Look, there are a few basic rules that all editors have been following since the silent film era. You've got to know the fundamentals.

Classic reedited

This is a classic in matters of old master's crafts. Wonderful to have it reedited and at an accesible price. Contains detailed history and modern testing of the materials used by artists from the Middle Ages up to the IX century. Well chosen illutrations demonstrate the effects achieved. Some of the indications as to where one can adquire materials, such as hematite or quills, are unfortunately out of date, but a wise use of Internet can yield solutions.

well worth it!

A friend of mine had a copy of this book that she used as a text book approximately 30 years ago. It is filled with exactly what it says...historical drawing techniques as well as recipes and keen insight into the materials used by the great masters. This is a wonderful book for those of us who are medieval re-enactors, and who are wanting to teach and demonstrate the authentic methods to a modern audience.

very little new information but much of the material used to draw is covered....especially metalpoint. Illustrations are not so impressive but this is a source for draftsmen interested in medieval and renaissance techniques.
